Stags Leap

The Stags Leap Vineyard, where sloping gravelly soils and sunny exposure create some of the valley's best red wine, helped establish the reputation of Stags Leap District for fine Cabernet. On this site surrounding the winery, five distinctive clones of Cabernet and three clones of Merlot are grafted to six different rootstocks.  These grapes contribute to all three of our Cabernets—the Napa Valley, the rare Limited Reserve, and the Stags Leap District Single-Vineyard Selection.
