2004 Zinfandel
Our 2004 Zinfandel has arrived! Fruity, bold and with just the right zip a Zinfandel needs. The new vintage sports our new label.
After a 12 day maceration, the wine aged 15 months in 100 percent French oak barrles of which 40 percent was new. A significant amount of Sangiovese in the blend adds brightness and acidity.Blend is 89 percent Zinfandel and 11 percent Sangiovese, all from our historical Soda Creek Ranch. Deep scarlet red color. Bright berry fruit, fresh cracked black pepper, broth, toasty oak and cedar aromas. Medium body, broad mid-palate feel with loads of fruit. Moderate length on finish with lingering flavors of wild cherry.
