2005 Cabernet Sauvignon

92 Points

"Dense inky-purple hue. Pretty scents that showcase maple, blackberry and oaky aromas. Well balanced on entry with a pretty blend of focused black fruit, citrus-laced acids and soft, combed tannins. Tart cherry fruit shines in the clean close with coffee and great backing of oaky tannins."

2005 SOLO Cabernet Sauvignon

4 out of 5 Stars

"Rich, supple, and fine; a Cabernet with excellent character, good balance and a very long finish, tasting of blackberry, cherry, black currant, toast, roasted nut, and tobacco. 4 Stars"

2006 Chardonnay - 88 Points

"...the '07 Napa County Chardonnay from Silverado strikes a chord with a crisp, dry Chard that is loaded with intense fruit aroma..."

"We've been begging California Chardonnay producers to make more "food" wines and it seems the pleas have been heeded. Or maybe it's just a coincidence. Whatever the motivation, the '07 Napa County Chardonnay from Silverado strikes a chord with a crisp, dry Chard that is loaded with intense fruit aroma without being fat or oily. This is a well-balanced Chardonnay in every repect, exhibiting aromas of apple, pear and lemon and well measured oak. 88 Points"

2006 Estate Sangiovese

4+ Stars out of 5

"Fine Sangiovese, and the best yet from Silverado: full bodied, supple, crisp, and long on the palate, with cherry, toast, plum, red currant, and cedar aromas/flavors. 4+ Stars out of 5"
