Tasting Notes
Aromatic, elegant, and defined by great structure, texture, and balance. Well-integrated flavors of wild red berries, plum, and black cherry, with notes of florals, fresh sage, mineral, cedar, toasted vanilla, and dark cocoa. Full-bodied and lush, with the vibrant energy characteristic of Limited Cabernet Sauvignon.
Vintage Notes
February saw abundant rains, followed by a relatively cool spring. Bud break occurred a bit late, and under ideal weather conditions, giving a plentiful and even fruit set. Summer brought generous sun and cooler marine influences, uninterrupted by major heat spikes. The mild summer was followed by moderate heat in the fall, which allowed the fruit to accumulate flavor complexity with gradual increases in ripeness.
